The Fire Prevention and Fighting Science and Technology Application Research Center – under the University of Fire Prevention and Fighting, Ministry of Public Security – was established pursuant to Decision No. 1099/2007/QĐ-BCA (X13) dated September 18, 2007, issued by the Minister of Public Security.

The Center is tasked with managing and organizing the implementation of scientific and technological research and applications related to fire prevention and firefighting, in accordance with regulations set forth by the State and the Ministry of Public Security.

In accordance with Decree No. 66/2014/TT-BCA 105/2025/NĐ-CP and Circular 36/2025/TT- BCA, fire prevention and firefighting equipment must undergo inspection to ensure user safety. In addition, the inspection of fire safety equipment helps businesses in this field detect technical faults in a timely manner, enabling them to make necessary corrections and reduce unnecessary risks.

The Center for Application of Fire Prevention and Fighting Science and Technology provides consulting services for the design of fire prevention and fighting (FPF) systems for various types of buildings, including residential properties, industrial facilities, commercial buildings, and specialized structures. The Center conducts on-site inspections to assess the current conditions of each project, evaluate fire hazards and risks, and develop design solutions appropriate to the scale and usage of the facility.
